Waldorf Alum Network Platform Staff Guidelines

Last updated: [September 2019]

Thank you for supporting the Waldorf Alum Networking Platform. While engaging please keep the following guidelines in mind.

By participating in the Waldorf Alum Networking Platform, you agree that you have read and will follow these guidelines. In order to preserve a climate that encourages both civil and fruitful dialogue, AWSNA reserves the right to screen and/or delete posts from participants who violate these guidelines and to suspend or terminate the right of any participation for any reason without notice.  If you have questions about these guidelines, please contact the Platform Coordinator at alumrelations@awsna.org.

STAFF PLATFORM GUIDELINES:

  • All privacy and community guidelines apply to school and institute staff members on the platform.

  • Staff members are expected to be aware of and uphold the agreements made by the continental delegates in relation to how the platform would be utilized.  These agreements include, but are not limited to:

    • You may reach out to individuals on the platform if they are an alum from your school/institute.

    • To reach out to alum from another school/institute, you MUST first have permission from their alma mater.  In the past schools have contacted alum from other Waldorf schools with a variety of asks: funds, speaking engagements, etc.  Some alum have been inundated and this has left them with a negative impression.

    • You may submit school/institute events to be posted on the platform, however, they are not to be fundraising events.

    • Any fundraising events or asks must be done on school/institute ‘affinity’ sites only.

The full set of agreements are in Appendix B of the Membership Guide in the AWSNA Member Portal.

If a staff member violates any of the agreements, the school may lose the privilege of having a staff member on the platform.
