In celebration of Waldorf education’s history and lineage, a core group of alum entertainers have been invited to join this year’s Innovation Summit co-hosted by AWSNA, APWE and WECAN. In the final week of June at the Chicago conference, alums from Waldorf schools around the continent will lead the closing evening’s celebration.

Alum Jacob Williams will be the Master of Ceremonies. Jacob is an actor, writer, and comedian and has appeared on The Late Show with Steven Colbert, America’s Got Talent, Comedy Central and is a regular cast member on the MTV hit improv series Wild ’n Out.

Headlining the evening’s performance is the American roots music band Dustbowl Revival, with alum Zach Lupetin heading up the group as lead singer. Also performing that evening will be acclaimed jazz pianist Lao Tizer. Best known for his band The Lao Tizer Band, Lao will be joining the conference in Chicago in between North American tour dates.

Twin brothers and alums Sam and Ben Brodsky of Brodsky Productions will be supporting the creation of the video montages to be presented that evening. Waldorf alum and current Eurythmy teacher at The Rudolf Steiner School Alexandra Spadea will be leading fellow eurythmists in a performance the opening night of the conference. And keep an eye out for other alums to come and join us as contributors to this wonderful event.

While these amazing creators and performers will grace the 2020 Conference, you can be inspired daily by Waldorf alums in the world by following the Waldorf Alum Spotlight campaign on Instagram and Facebook.
